Tools Lanka – Refund & Return Policy
Introduction
Tools Lanka will process refunds (for selected items) for the exact amount paid, subject to the following deductions:
- Any delivery costs already incurred.
- Any restocking fees for special orders.
Refunds will be processed in accordance with the refund and return policy outlined below, as well as any special conditions mentioned for the product purchased. Refunds will be sent back to the same payment method used at the time of purchase (e.g., credit card, bank transfer).
Valid Reasons to Return an Item
You may request a return if:
- The product is damaged (physically broken/destroyed) or defective (e.g., not functioning).
- The product is incomplete (missing items or accessories).
- The product does not match the description or advertised images.
- The product does not fit.
- The wrong product/size/colour was delivered, or the item is counterfeit/expired.
Return Policy
- Cancellations must be informed within 24 hours of placing the order, before dispatch from our store. Some orders may not be eligible for cancellation (noted on the product page).
- Returns must be informed within 7 days for eligible products.
- Returned items must be in their original packaging, with tags intact, and in the same condition as delivered.
- Items returned after the 7-day period will not be accepted.
- Customers are responsible for items until they reach us. Proper packaging must be ensured to avoid damage in transit. Damaged items during return transit will not be accepted.
- Customers must keep proof of postage when returning items.
- Processing of return requests and dispatching of replacement units may take 5–7 business days.
- Customers may also return items directly to the Tools Lanka store, provided they bring the original invoice/proof of purchase and warranty certificates (if applicable).
Refund Policy
- All refunds will be processed via electronic payment methods.
- Refunds may take up to 7 working days to reflect in your account, subject to verification of banking details.
- Delivery fees are non-refundable in cases of late cancellations.
- If a payment is cancelled or invalidated, the customer remains liable for the full purchase price, including recovery costs.
- If a replacement unit (size/model) is unavailable, a full refund will be issued (excluding delivery charges incurred for returning the item).

The prices listed on ToolsLanka.lk are final and represent the last sale price available via online purchase.
